A lot of experience and care are required for the production of glass tree ornaments. In an 800-degree gas flame, the glassblower carefully blows a small piece of glass into the desired shape. This is followed by dyeing or painting. Other types of finishing include decorating with glitter dust, ice varnish or decorative wires.
